MONKINYA FOR PARENTS, FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS
For over a decade, I have had the joy of witnessing how mindfulness and yoga help children become emotionally stronger and more resilient. Working with kids has shown me just how powerful these practices can be.
When I became a mom, I began using these practices with my daughter and was amazed at how easily they fit into our family life. They not only help my toddler explore and express her emotions but also bring us closer together in ways I never expected - while also helping me find my calm.
I help you bring these wonderful tools into your homes by sharing the knowledge and resources you need to guide their children toward mindfulness and emotional growth with confidence and help you explore ways to connect through fun, laughter, and play while creating a warm, safe space for children to navigate big emotions.
1-1 COACHING WITH MERVE:
If this is what your life somewhat looks like now:
o You’ve tried every parenting hack you can find online, but tantrums still leave you burning with motherly rage. Mornings are chaotic, and bedtime feels more like a battleground than a bonding moment. You wonder, “Why is this so hard? Am I a bad parent? Am I just not very good at this?
o You want to raise your kids with calm and joy, but between the stress of life, your job, housework and the never-ending to-do list, you feel like you’re constantly running on empty. You’re scared your stress is rubbing off on your kids, and you’re unsure how to break the cycle.
o You love your kids more than anything, and sometimes the overwhelm takes over. “Is this what parenting is supposed to feel like?” You daydream about being more grounded, more connected to your kids, and less guilty about your inability to play, and just…let go and immerse yourself in your child’s little world.
o As a parent, you feel like you’re supposed to have all the answers (isn’t that what our parents taught us?!) But who’s helping you find the calm, the joy, and the clarity YOU also need to show up for yourself and your kids? You’re just lonely and wish you could talk to someone honestly about all of this…
AND THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO:
o Deep breaths have slowly replace yelling. Moments of calm bring you and your child closer together. You’re actually guiding your child through their big feelings with confidence because you’ve learned how to stay grounded (even when they’re stomping their feet or rolling around on a supermarket floor.)
o Parenting doesn’t have to feel so heavy. After working together, you know how to create moments of mindful play that bring joy back into your family routine. You discover that you are your child’s calm anchor, and you feel like you can tap into the things you need to say and do to make them feel safe, seen, and loved.
o It’s not about being the “perfect parent.” It’s about being a present parent. And that’s how you feel now. Less overwhelmed, less guilty, and more connected to your kids and yourself. Mindfulness isn’t what you thought it was, it took you deeper into yourself than you ever imagined you could go, and now you and your family feel like you’re finally on the same page.
